“Everyone thinks they’re a new team, that they’ll be better, or if you were good last year, you’re going to be just as good as you were” Acklin said. In the final stages of recovery from a leg fracture which ended his 2022 season, quarterback Jeremiah Masoli won’t play the first two weeks of the season.
“Everybody’s excited, fresh and looking forward to starting off the season like we want to,” Arbuckle said. “When you’re first building it through the off-season, you want to reflect on the things that both went right and wrong so you know what things are worth carrying over and what things you need to be flushing down the toilet.
