Issa brothers submit plans for new car park close to M65 as they continue to expand empire
A BOOM in activity at a business park owned by one of the Issa brothers following the end of the coronavirus pandemic has led to the need for a new car park.
A supporting statement for the application to Blackburn with Darwen Council from Urban Future Planning Consultancy Ltd says: “Evolution Park comprises The Innovation Centre and Fusion House. .“Owing to the end of the Covid-19 restrictions in the UK and the rapid reopening of the economy alongside a ‘return to the office’ agenda, the business park is experiencing increased demand and the applicant seeks to extend the parking area.
“However, it was deemed unacceptable as it would have been in conflict with Lancashire County Council standards at the time. Since then much has changed.
