ANKARA, Turquía (AP) — Israel anunció el sábado que retiraba a sus diplomáticos de Turquía por las “declaraciones cada vez más duras” del gobierno de Ankara.
El anuncio se produjo después que el presidente turco dijera ante una multitudinaria manifestación en Estambul que su gobierno se disponía a declarar a Israel “criminal de guerra” por sus acciones en la Franja de Gaza. Israel ya había retirado a sus diplomáticos de Turquía por motivos de seguridad.
El fiscal jefe de la Corte Penal Internacional ha declarado que una investigación abierta en 2021 sobre presuntos crímenes en los territorios palestinos podría analizar las acusaciones de crímenes de guerra de la actual guerra entre Israel y Hamás. La reacción inicial de Erdogan a la guerra entre Israel y Hamás fue bastante discreta. Instó a ambas partes a poner fin a las hostilidades.
