Israel's military massed troops on the border with Gaza as airstrikes pummeled the Palestinian enclave in the wake of Saturday's attack by Hamas.
A Reuters videographer was killed in southern Lebanon, the news outlet said Friday. Reuters said the videographer, Issam Abdallah, was killed and two of its journalists were injured while a crew was providing a live signal.
Occasional deadly clashes have erupted on the Israel-Lebanon border between the Israeli military and Iran-backed Hezbollah militants since the surprise attack from Hamas last weekend. “We are urgently seeking more information, working with authorities in the region, and supporting Issam’s family and colleagues,” a Reuters spokeswoman said, adding, “Our thoughts are with their families at this terrible time.
