Island Nagalis was heading to Campbell River when it experienced a mechanical problem.
The Island Nagalis ferry was again taken out of service this past weekend when a problem with its thruster surfaced on Saturday morning.
The Nagalis and K’ulut’a are among B.C. Ferries’ newest vessels. The doubled-ended, hybrid-electric vessels are each 265 feet long and can carry up to 400 passengers and crew.
