18-year-old singer-songwriter Isaac Dunbar has quickly made waves in the indie-pop scene with his vibrant, special sound. Now, Dunbar is following up his 2021 single “Celebrate” and 2021 EP. “‘Bleach’ feels as though it’s my first single," said Dunbar in a statement. "I’ve taken a lot of time to hibernate and cultivate my sound these past couple of months, now I’m finally ready to let everyone into my world.
“I'm a classic sign of self-sabotage / A monster dressed in your mirage / Once I said I love you, I ran away,” sings Dunbar on the bright new single. With a voice that resonates and the irresistible sonic energy of dance-pop, “Bleach” solidifies Dunbar as one to watch.Baby Tate returns with a passionate two-song bundle that shows off her range, leading with the pensive R&B track “What's Love.
“I wrote ‘Letter To Ur Ex’ the morning after me and my guy had had a really bad argument due to a text that had been sent by his ex partner the night before," Mahalia said in a statement about the new single. “I think when everybody begins a new relationship, it’s vital that it feels like a fresh start. Like everything before doesn’t really matter and the next journey begins now with only the two of you. I realized through this experience that isn’t always the case.
Mahalia also released a music video to accompany the song, co-directed and shot by British director Oliver Kane — and Mahalia herself.
