In the video, he refers to one of the people he is apologizing to as “Fatty.” That appears to be a reference to 18-year-old Zackhry Ramnath.
A source from Batshaw youth and family centres said the video, which has been viewed more than 4,900 times, is causing concern among youth who have seen it and has put many people “on edge.” Two people off camera say “Thank you” and then one orders Isaiah to “Get up!” before the 25-second video comes to an end.On July 21, 2021, Ramnath posted a link to a YouTube video of himself on Facebook that ends with him saying “Peace out, Fatty.” In another short video posted on the same YouTube account, Ramnath is seen making what appear to be gang symbols with his hand.
“Our investigators are aware of the recent news reports regarding Isaiah Leopold Roach, a 16-year-old who was recently found murdered in Quebec, and they are aware of the links that are being reported in the media between him and Zackhry Ramnath. At this time, we cannot confirm if police have established a link between Roach and Ramnath or if there is a connection to our investigation.
