The 16th century villa is the only known building with a ceiling painted by legendary artist Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio. Caravaggio, perhaps one of the most iconic Italian painters of the 1500s, was famous for the intense and unsettling realism of his large-scale religious works., once used as a hunting lodge, was relisted on October 18 for a whopping £155million and has a minimum asking price of £207million.
