British satellite group Inmarsat PLC (ISAT.LN) has agreed to a $3.4 billion takeover offer from a consortium of private equity and pension plan investors, the companies said Monday. The consortium comprising funds advised by Apax Partners and Warburg Pincus LLC, as well as Canada Pension Plan Investment Board and Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan Board offered $7.21 a share in cash for Inmarsat.
