Los Feliz Drive shut down between Tyson Street and Carla Vista Drive
CHANDLER, AZ — An individual is dead after an officer-involved shooting near McClintock Drive and Chandler Boulevard Wednesday afternoon.It is unknown what led to the shooting, but police confirmed one person is dead after the shooting.
Police say that three officers were involved in the incident and are now on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation. None of the officers were hurt were injured during the incident. Officials say Los Feliz Drive will be shut down from Tyson Street to Carla Vista Drive for"an extended amount of time."This is the second shooting involving police officers in the Valley this week and the 24th overall this year. An armed shoplifting suspect was shot and killed by police near 35th Avenue and Roosevelt Street late Tuesday night.
