Mr. Newman launched Craig Electronics, a company that provided electronics to retail stores, after immigrating from Havana, Cuba. He died earlier this year.
Mr. Serhant said the asking price of the Newman property is justified by the demand for large oceanfront estates in the Miami and Palm Beach areas. He said he believes Golden Beach has been historically undervalued.
