Omar has come under fire for her response to the war between Israel and Hamas. While she issued a condemnation on the day Hamas sent thousands of rockets into Israel earlier this month, Omar called on President Joe Biden to push for a ceasefire immediately and blamed the Israel Defense Forces for the explosion at the al Ahli Arab Hospital on Tuesday that killed hundreds.
“I’m from a militant group,” one caller said, per the outlet. “I can’t wait till our group sees you one day and I can rip your f***ing rag off your head. ... I hope the Israelis kill every f***ing one of you.”
