TTC tokens will no longer be sold anywhere after March 24.

According to the City of Toronto, tokens were introduced at the opening of the Yonge subway line in 1954 as a way to move riders more quickly through the new turnstiles. Riders can expect other changes over the next month, with a single adult one-way fare increasing by 10 cents to $3.35 as of April 3.
