Tiara Freeman, the mother of the 4-year-old girl who died following a dog attack over the weekend, says she was taking steps to get her life back on track...
Lea Freeman, who is four years old, died following a dog attack in southeast Oak Cliff Saturday morning.
Dallas police previously said one dog was picked up by the city’s animal services department, but has since confirmed that multiple dogs were taken into custody. Freeman said she thinks all three of the dogs in the house, which she described as pit bulls, attacked Lea. Freeman said she is no longer staying at the house at which the attack occurred, and feels “blessed” to be getting help from others in the neighborhood, including the Penningtons. Her 1-year-old daughter who was in the house during the attack is currently staying with her grandmother.
