Amber Heard says she has 'no bad feelings or ill will' towards Johnny Depp in the second part of her interview with the Today show.
“I love him. I loved him with all my heart,” Heard told NBC’s“And I tried the best I could to make a deeply broken relationship work. And I couldn’t. I have no bad feelings or ill will towards him at all. I know that might be hard to understand, or it might be really easy to understand.
Guthrie asked, “There’s a text message where Johnny promises ‘total global humiliation’ for you. Do you feel like that came true?” Heard continued: “What the op-ed was about was me loaning my voice to a bigger cultural conversation that we were having at the time.” Theactor became an ACLU ambassador two years after pledging half of her divorce settlement to the organization, and it was in coordination with the ACLU that she wrote the 2018 op-ed that Depp eventually sued her over. Together, Heard and the ACLU intended for the article to advocate for legislation in support of domestic violence victims.
