Fri, March 15th 2024 at 12:56 PMOfficials have identified human remains that were found in Grand County as Timothy Jordan Boone, who had been missing since Aug. 2021.
Grand County Sheriff's deputies said that they were notified of bones found in the Book Cliffs area on March 10, 2024. A recovery team composed of Grand County investigators, Search & Rescue crew members, Mesa County deputies and K9s, human remains were located and retrieved. Authorities said that the remains were then transferred to the Utah State Medical Examiner's Office, and were ultimately identified as Boone.
"At this time, no foul play is suspected in the disappearance of Mr. Boone," officials stated. "We would like to thank everyone involved in bringing closure to the family of Mr. Boone."
