Auburn begins fall camp Thursday morning
The Tigers go into camp with a mostly healthy team, but Freeze gave an update on who they don’t expect to have to start camp.
Kicker Alex McPherson is still not cleared to play, battling a gastrointestinal illness. Freeze said McPherson is “getting better,” but not yet cleared to return.The other update came on the offensive line, as redshirt freshman tackle Tyler Johnson will miss the first two practices with a hamstring injury, according to Freeze.Johnson played in three games last season, but Freeze mentioned him during SEC Media Days when talking about options at left tackle.
