HSBC markets boss exit presages U.S. and EU pain LiamWardProud
HSBC will replace its head of investment banking Samir Assaf, the Financial Times reported on Nov. 20. An announcement could be made as early as this year or in early 2020.
Assaf would stay at the lender in a non-executive role, according to a person familiar with the matter, and will not be the only executive to be replaced as part of a shakeup by Interim Chief Executive Noel Quinn.
