Destiny 2 has unleashed what appears to be a new Outbreak Prime quest, bringing back a beloved exotic questline from Destiny 1 during some relative down time. Here's how to start it.
And here I thought we were heading into a month of relative nothing now that Season of the Drifter was at an end in Destiny 2. But today marked the arrival of a new patch, and what appears to be a new exotic quest for Outbreak Prime, the famed pulse rifle from Destiny 1, Rise of Iron era.
You are looking for a new device called the Fallen Transponder. It is found in the heroic adventure mission on Titan which is currently live today, with Titan being the new flashpoint. The steps to find it are:Walking in to the room, go right, and you’ll find it on the machine.: You do not actually need to be in this quest to pick up the device. You just need to go to the place listed here to find it, and it should be available to grab from th unlocked room.
“A Fallen global positioning transponder, jury-rigged for operation by human hands. Its encrypted interface seems to require locational data. Beyond that, your Ghost can find nothing remarkable about this device except a brief plaintext message embedded in its header files.”I’m not sure what the plaintext message is, my game is still patching this update, but from the sound of it, it seems like you’ll have to visit six locations to activate this thing and continue on to the next step.
