San Antonio is getting ready to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, which begins Thursday, Sept. 15. Also, Mexican Independence Day on Friday, Sept. 16.
will host its 41st annual parade celebrating Mexican Independence Day on San Antonio’s Westside on Sept. 17, at 11 a.m.
Market Square will kick off its El Grito weekend Sept. 17-18 with music on multiple stages, various vendors and plenty of activities for families.Presented by the LULAC Council, theThe Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center at Trinity University will put on a dance event titled . They will hold the symposium Oct. 7 at 9 a.m. featuring panels and performances. Admission is free., hosted by the Avenida Guadalupe Association, will occur on Oct. 15th from 9 p.m. to midnight. This is a virtual event.will take place on Oct. 15, from noon to 8 p.m. at Wonderland of the Americas. Live music, dance and various types of historic Latin foods will be featured at this free family-friendly event.
