“It had been 10-years shooting as much as I could and building my show reel,” White explains about having the opportunity to join. “It was two years ago that I got the call from my agent, Louiza [Vick], who I had for about a year and they had gotten a call from the cinematographer onbecause they were looking for a second DP [director of photography] to join them on the on the second season.
In the beginning of her career, White became the yes-woman. Whatever film or show she could work on, she did. She understood the importance of not only building her show reel but also building her personal brand. “I started volunteering and working in the camera department as an assistant,” she explains. “Gradually worked into making small videos with my friends…Along the way as you're working your way up as a cinematographer, you just take every job you can.
