“My mom was like, a huge, huge rocker,” Viera said. “So, from a very young age I was always listening to Judas Priest, or she had Iron Maiden on the radio.”“I didn’t have any athletic background,” Viera said. “So, it was really hard for me. I didn’t know how to do promos. I didn’t know how to talk … and I had a stutter. Wrestling was like a therapy for me.”
The event is one of several shows being held that weekend as tens of thousands of wrestling fans descend on San Antonio to watch WWE’s Royal Rumble on Jan. 28 at the Alamodome.
