Danica Patrick finished her first marathon in 4:01:21, good enough for a 9:13/mile pace. “It was a surreal experience,” Develin told WBZ-TV after finishing. “I didn’t know what to expect. This was my first experience at the marathon and it was absolutely awesome from Mile 1 to 26.2. It was a great time.”Chris Nikic, the 22-year-old runner and Ironman with Down Syndrome, finished the Boston Marathon in 6:01:22.
“It’s such an amazing day,” Nikic told WBZ-TV after finishing. “When I tackled those hills, it was tough. But I knew that I could make it.”on November 7 last year, and was awarded two ESPYs in the summer of 2021.
