“It was a big deal. It was something that I did not expect to happen,” the Emmy-winning actor told Page Six Style.
“A Different World” actor Glynn Turman made his modeling debut at the age of 73, at the request of none other than Beyoncé.
“Yeah, it was a big deal. It was something that I did not expect to happen,” Turman, now 74, told Page Six Style of his starring role in the superstar’s“I didn’t realize it was going to turn me into the face of that collection,” he continued. “But it’s a wonderful thing that it came up at dinner with Beyoncé and her family.”

“[Beyoncé] basically needed a young lady to model some of the clothing. So I said, ‘Well, my granddaughter could model that’ — because she needed somebody to ride a horse, and she knew I had a ranch of horses, so I knew about riding as well,” the rodeo champ recalled.“So [Beyoncé] said, ‘Oh, do you think she would want to?’ And I was like, ‘What, are you kidding?’ I asked my granddaughter and she said, ‘Of course I’ll do it.
