"We know there are more criminals out during the Christmas holidays to commit some crimes," Finner said."We have a lot of officers, seen and unseen, undercover, plain clothes, we're going to beef it up." The city provided additional money to police for holiday security this year, Turner said. He also credited businesses with increasing the number of security cameras they have installed.
