“Consumers don’t want the government taking away the features on gas stoves that they like and use. That is not the role of the U.S. government,” she said from the floor Tuesday. “Now they claim that nearly 50 percent of gas stoves will pass their rule. But guess what? That means more than 50 percent won’t. Don’t tell me they’re not trying to ban gas stoves,” Lesko responded.
