A hotel manager left her place of work looking 'like a scene from Shameless' after she got drunk on the job.
Though he quickly changed his mind after seeing a police report about the incident, handing Griffiths a written warning about being drunk on the clock.
‘I must warn you of the fact that if you are caught in the act of being drunk in charge of the hotel, you will be subject to instant dismissal for gross misconduct.’ ‘NOT a pleasant place to visit at all… How it makes money I cannot fathom. Friday night is like an episode of shameless, but with less class!’
Saunders told the tribunal he was worried about how the reviews, the August 4 incident and the police report would impact his business.
