In this week’s Seven Hills Police Blotter, police were dispatched to Meijer regarding a suspicious situation at the Broadview Road store.

Updated: Jul. 12, 2024, 2:28 p.m.On June 21, police were dispatched to Meijer regarding a suspicious situation at the Broadview Road store.The animal lover said the canine was panting and looked to be in distress.

An arriving officer, as well as animal control officer, arrived on the scene to find a gray Nissan with all four windows rolled down two inches.Using a digital thermometer, the animal control officer said the interior of the Nissan registered a 109 degrees.The Seven Hills woman finally returned to the Nissan where she was cited for prohibitions concerning companion animals.On June 15, police were dispatched to Meijer after an employee reported a shoplifting incident at the Broadview Road store.

The caller said the woman grabbed numerous items in the store and under-scanned in the self-checkout area.Also, it turned out the Cleveland woman had a warrant.
