Hospice Quinte completes large fundraiser
Hospice Quinte’s 2022-2023 The Comfort of Home Campaign Committee : HQ Community Investment & Marketing Manager Sandi Ramsay, HQ Board VP Stan Dafoe, HQ Board Director Dave Burrows, HQ Executive Director Jennifer May-Anderson, Campaign Chair Marty Halloran, volunteer Barb Toffelmire, volunteer Paul Osborne and volunteer Geoff Cudmore.
Hospice Quinte has announced the results of the first year of their Comfort of Home fundraising campaign.“It has been a very rewarding experience to Chair this critically important fundraising campaign in its first year”, says Marty Halloran, Hospice Quinte volunteer and Chair of the 2022-2023 Comfort of Home Campaign Committee. “I am in awe of the generosity and genuine care for our community that Hospice Quinte’s donors have demonstrated.
The campaign is now launching it’s second year, with a 2023-2024 fundraising target of $1,000,000. This will go towards Hospice Quinte’s operating budget of $2.2 million. Hospice Quinte currently provides end of life care for over 110,000 people in Quinte West, Belleville, Deseronto, Tyendinaga Township and the Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory at no charge to the recipient or their family.
