Hong Kong's government has made moves to end the three-month political crisis with concessions to protesters and appeals to international investors.
Hong Kong authorities took out a full-page advert in the Australian Financial Review on Thursday aimed at reassuring overseas investors."We remain a safe, open, welcoming and cosmopolitan society and an internationally connected, vibrant and dynamic economy. We will no doubt bounce back.
Back to school week in the city has been dominated by students boycotting classes in support of the demonstrations. Among those were students at the Chinese Foundation Secondary School, whichto business leaders that she would resign if she could and her apology for the “havoc” in the city.
