Homicide detectives investigating suspicious death of man found in Spring Valley apartment [Breaking]
Sheriff’s homicide detectives are investigating the suspicious death of a 21-year-old man whose body was found inside a Spring Valley apartment on Monday afternoon, official said.
Mario Munguia’s body was found with a possible gunshot wound to the upper torso shortly after 3:30 p.m., according to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department. Deputies were summoned to the apartment on Fairway Drive near Broadway, west of Mount Helix and just east of state Route 125, by an acquaintance of Munguia who reported an attempted suicide, said sheriff’s Lt. Chris Steffen.“Suicide is a possibility of what might have happened but we are still investigating,” Steffen said.
