Frustrated homeowner 'exhausted' as neighbour's kids provide 5.30am wake up call every morning
A homeowner has been left infuriated as her neighbour's children continuously wake her up at 6am in the morning on both weekdays and the weekends. The woman ranted that she is ''exhausted'' and can never catch up on her sleep due to the loud levels of noise and chaos coming from her next door.
"I know they cannot stop their kids getting up and making noise, I have a child myself I understand that, but the issue is they are not getting out of bed with them. They are leaving them alone in [their] bedroom which is joined to mine for up to 3 hours alone every morning so they can have a lie in, neglectful really.
"They also come up to bed late gone midnight slamming every door waking me up as well.", the poster concluded, asking the question, "Am I being unreasonable or should I complain to the council. One wrote: "This sounds very frustrating. I would perhaps first try and approach your neighbours to see if you can let them know they are being very disruptive very early in the morning. Ultimately it’s within their property so not sure there’s much you can do.
