Former Cleveland Browns star Josh Cribbs is set to be the celebrity keg-tapper at Hofbrauhaus Cleveland on Wednesday, June 1.
Cribbs will tap Altbier, a German-style Brown Ale billed as having a nutty, bittersweet finish. It is 5.2% alcohol.
The style – “alt” means “old” - traces its origins to Dusseldorf, Germany. It is moderate in alcohol, easy drinking and copper to dark brown in color.Hofbrauhaus is at 1550 Chester Ave., Cleveland.
