ANTIGONISH, N.S. — The Quad County Whitecaps will host the Nova Scotia female under-15 'AAA' hockey provincial championship this weekend at the Charles V.
The Quad County Whitecaps, which includes players from the Strait Richmond Minor Hockey Association, Antigonish Minor Hockey Association, Canso Minor Hockey Association and the Cape Breton West Minor Hockey Association, will host the five-team tournament.
The Whitecaps open the tournament at 11 a.m. on Friday against the ME Inferno of Halifax, before taking on the MW Force Warriors of Halifax at 5 p.m. Quad County will wrap up the round robin on Saturday with games at 8:30 a.m. against the Valley Wild at 12:30 p.m. against the MW Force Citadels of Halifax.
The semifinal games as well as the championship game is expected to be held on Sunday.
