ANTIGONISH, N.S. - The Quad County Whitecaps took home the silver medal at the Nova Scotia female under-15 'AAA' hockey provincial championship over the weekend in Antigonish. The Whitecaps, which includes players from the Strait Richmond Minor Hockey Association, Antigonish Minor Hockey Association, Canso Minor Hockey Association and the Cape Breton West Minor Hockey Association, were blanked 1-0 in the provincial final by the Metro West Force Citadels at the Charles V. Keating Centre on Sunday.HOCKEY: Quad County Whitecaps to host female under-15 'AAA' provincial championship this weekendMetro West's Liliana Oliveira picked up the win in goal.
Quad County went 3-1 in the round robin with wins over Metro West Force Warriors 3-1, Valley Wild 3-1, and the Citadels 3-2.
