An 80-year-old hiker was evacuated Monday from Rocky Mountain National Park after other hikers found her unresponsive on the trail.
RMNP officials said the woman experienced a “cardiac event” about five miles from the Lawn Lake trailhead Monday morning and was unresponsive when other hikers found her on the trail.
Lawn Lake Trail is 12 1/2 miles long and is generally considered a challenging route that takes around six hours to complete,Man dies while tubing Arkansas River near Florence RMNP officials said a Med Evac air ambulance waiting at Upper Beaver Meadows flew the 80-year-old to a hospital, but no update on her condition was available.
