A collision temporarily closed Highway 11 in the Shabaqua area early Wednesday afternoon, but shortly before two o'clock the road was declared reopened. Ontario 511 reported just after 1 p.m. Wednesday that a collision had forced the closure of both lanes of the highway near Mabella Road. Ontario Provincial Police said they responded to a collision involving two passenger vehicles. Members of the Shabaqua detachment and Superior North EMS paramedics responded.
Police have not disclosed yet whether anyone was injured in the collision
