HOUSTON - Police are investigating a fatal accident after a man lost control of his pickup truck on the North Side.
According to the Houston Police Department, the incident happened around 4 a.m., Sunday, on Jensen Drive. Authorities say a man was driving fast and lost control of his vehicle at the intersection before slamming into a wooden power pole.The driver was taken to the hospital in serious but stable condition, investigators shared.
Investigators are testing whether the driver was under the influence of alcohol, according to the police.
