A request for comment to Caliburn International, the holding company of Comprehensive Health Services , which runs Homestead, was not immediately returned.“Caliburn will no longer receive millions of dollars to operate an empty facility. Taxpayers should never have been footing the bill for inhumane immigration policies,” wrote Congresswoman Debbie Murcasel-Powell, a Florida Democrat, on Twitter.
