Plans to build 3,500 homes north of Selby will have a 'significant' impact on York, a meeting hears.
The village would have its own market square with a high street, according to those behind the plans
City of York Council is set to lodge an official objection over Selby District Council's preference for a new community near Heronby. A Heronby project spokesperson said they were "keen to support further engagement" between the councils.According to a City of York Council report, Selby District Council and developer Escrick Park Estates had underestimated the likely traffic impact on the A19 and Naburn Lane.
