They cordoned off the area where he was lying, made sure he stayed awake by talking to him and called an ambulance. ‘We then made the decision to link arms and get him into the building. I think we did well, as the situation could have turned a lot worse. The first-aid training that we had automatically kicked in.’It turns out that the man, who has asked to remain anonymous, has severe anaemia.
