A month from today, Heritage is planning to celebrate its 50th year by focusing on the emerging leaders. Officials said GovRonDeSantis will headline Heritage’s Leadership Summit, joining GlennYoungkin on the Foundation’s center stage.
Officials revealed Tuesday that Gov. Ron DeSantis will headline Heritage’s Leadership Summit, joining Gov. Glenn Youngkin in its center stage. Youngkin is set to help open the two-day summit by welcoming and addressing the organization at Mount Vernon, President George Washington’s Potomac River home in Virginia.
The gala keynote speaker is Fox News’s Tucker Carlson, who “started” his career at Heritage, according to the organization. He is now among the top conservative communicators in the country. The leadership summit, scheduled for both days, will give DeSantis a chance to spell out his winning formula in Florida, the topic of his new book.
“Conservatives are craving a bold and visionary leader who gets things done — and that’s exactly what Gov. Ron DeSantis has accomplished in Florida,” Heritage President Kevin Roberts said.“Heritage recognized Florida as the top state in America for parental rights and school choice, largely because of Gov. DeSantis’s leadership.
