Councillors feel Heritage Communities LAP ‘strikes the right balance’
She said the number of people who came out to speak in support of the plan shows the city’s engagement was successful. Penner said people are asking questions about how they can maintain services, businesses and schools in established communities, and the LAP is meant to support those goals by ensuring communities can grow in a planned way.“There’s always these folks in the community that don’t want change. But I do think this strikes the right balance,” she said.
