Last week, a Reddit user asked why Whataburger hasn't gotten rid of the pharse on its cups despite no longer being family owned. Miranda Grubbs, a spokesperson for Whataburger, told the Express-News in an email that the chain is run by"a family of families committed to staying true to the values Harmon Dobson established more than 70 years ago.
The children of Dobson, who founded Whataburger in 1950, still maintain a stake in the company.
