"It's three-and-a-half hours. That's a lot of minutes of planning," she told after the broadcast, laughing. "But we're really excited because we have such great artists to work with.
"There’s a lot of fresh, young voices that really break through in an atypical, unapologetic way," she continued about the nominees. "They break so many barriers, and I’m hoping the show does that as well."
