The winter edition of Birmingham Restaurant week returns on Feb. 27. Here’s what to know about the 2022 winter edition of the city’s premiere dining event showcasing local restaurants:
, the city’s premiere dining event showcasing local restaurants, returns on Feb. 17. For 10 days, patrons will be able to indulge in two, three, and four course prix-fixe meals at more than 30 restaurants, bars, and food trucks in the Birmingham metro area.
Previously scheduled for January, Birmingham Restaurant Week organizers decided to postpone the Winter Edition because of the surge of COVID-19 cases due to the highly contagious Omicron variant. Since 2020, organizers have adapted Birmingham restaurant week in an effort to help patrons dine safety and help establishments recover from the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. For a third year, participating businesses will have to-go and/or curbside options for drinking and dining in addition to traditional dine-in options.
Birmingham Restaurant Week organizers expect approximately 30 to 40 Birmingham-area restaurants, food trucks, bars and coffee shops to participate in this year’s winter edition of Birmingham Restaurant Week, which runs from Feb. 17 to Feb 26.
