The basketball star was awarded Nickelodeon's 2020 Generation Change Award for his work with the LeBron James Family Foundation's, which aims to support the education of at-risk students. “This means so much,” James said in a video. “It’s not just about me, this is about you guys as well. I’m just so appreciative, and I just want to say that I hope everyone is staying safe throughout these difficult times.
She closed out her speech with a thank-you to fans, saying: “To be acknowledged at this time for bringing much needed entertainment and joy is very meaningful to me and I really don’t take this lightly.
