Grief-stricken friends have paid tribute to a Glasgow teenager who died after she falling ill at a music festival.

Despite the medics' best efforts the 19-year-old passed away on Monday morning, writes the Daily Record.Maya has been described as an 'amazing' girl who will be sorely missed by her devastated friends. "I’m so lucky to have all these great memories with you, wish we could have made more together. You will always be in my thoughts.

Maya was one of thousands of excited electronic music lovers to travel to the festival to see a line-up including the biggest names in dance music.
