Atlanta Hawks guard Dejounte Murray is expected to miss around two weeks because of a sprained left ankle. Murray is the third Hawks starter to suffer an injury in the past week.

Murray is averaging 20.8 points, 5.4 rebounds, 6.2 assists and 1.8 steals per game while shooting 45.2% overall and 36.6% on 3-pointers. The Hawks brass hoped that a Murray-Young tandem would give the team a competitive advantage in the Eastern Conference. So far, the season has not gone quiet as planned. The Hawks currently sit at 13-13 and are in the seventh spot in the East.
Young has struggled with his jump shot all season, especially from beyond the arch. The Hawks ranked 29th in three-point percentage.
