A haunted house actor in Ohio recently decided to discard a prop knife and accidentally stabbed an 11-year-old boy with a real knife, according to reports., the incident occurred on September 18 at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds, which is located at 164 Eastland Road in Ohio.
The police report said that officers with the Berea Police Department were called to the"7 Floors of Hell" haunted house at around 8:15 p.m. after receiving reports that a boy was stabbed in the foot. A 22-year-old actor at the attraction was outside scaring people as guests walked toward the entrance of the haunted house. While the actor was outside the haunted house, an 11-year-old boy and his friend approached the entrance. The actor then moved toward the two boys and scraped the ground with a real bowie-style knife to scare them, the police report said.
According to Cleveland.com, the"7 Floors of Hell" haunted house supplied the actors with fake prop knives to scare guests, but this specific actor allegedly decided to use his own real knife that he brought from home. The police report said that after scraping the ground with the knife, the 22-year-old haunted house actor began to stab the ground in an effort to scare the 11-year-old boy and his friend.
When Berea Police officers arrived at the scene, other haunted house employees were already assisting the boy. Berea Police officers bandaged the 11-year-old boy's wound and were able to put his shoe back on, according to the police report.
